TourABQ Tour Guide

 

Purpose: Guide on the open-air Trolley during various TourABQ tours.

 

Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding customer service skills while providing a first rate guided tour of Albuquerque. If you have previous guiding experience, enjoy working with visitors, and want to work in an environment which encourages teamwork, self-development, and a commitment to excellence, come join us!

• Ability to be comfortable talking on a moving vehicle in front of a varied audience.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Articulate and fantastic storyteller.

• Positive attitude with a passion for Albuquerque.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.

• Familiarity with Albuquerque history and culture is preferred.

Job Duties:

• Works as two-person team with Trolley driver to offer a memorable Albuquerque experience.

• Goes above and beyond to satisfy customer needs.

• Accepts constructive criticism and offers feedback to TourABQ managers.

• Serves as an ambassador for TourABQ and Albuquerque.

Compensation: $12/hour + gratuity. This position is part-time and hours may vary weekly. Company is closed in January and February. Must be available during Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (first Saturday to second Sunday in October).
